Ad aprire la rassegna saranno proiettati, fuori concorso, i seguenti sei cortometraggi scelti per offrire una panoramica sulla produzione più recente.

IL SONNAMBULO/THE SLEEPWALKER

Sinossi: Simone, Giorgina e Paola non fanno altro che aspettare che passi il brutto momento di una separazione perché le loro vite possano continuare. L’ex marito di Paola vuole ritornare con lei, ma qualcosa accade di speciale cosicché tutti loro aprono gli occhi verso una nuova prospettiva.
Synopsis: Simon, Paola and Jorgito do nothing but wait out the bad time of separation because their lives can continue. The former husband of Paola wants to return with her, but something special happens, so that all of them open their eyes to a whole new perspective.
PERFIDIA/PERFIDY

Sinossi: Quando il padre di Lucia muore, Lazzaro, l’autista capisce che questa è la sua unica opportunità per appagare il desiderio che lo spinge verso di lei e senza rendersene conto rimane imprigionato nella rete di Lucia che vuole esorcizzare i demoni della relazione con suo padre. Questa attrazione si trasforma lentamente in una ossessione.
Synopsis: When Lucia’s father dies Lazarus, the driver, understands that this is his only the chance to satisfy the desire that drives him toward her, and without realizing it remains trapped in the web of Lucia who wants to exorcise the demons of the relationship with his father. This attraction slowly turns into an obsession.
IL BAMBINO METALLARO/METAL CHILD

Sinossi: Ramon vende magliette di gruppi metal in un mercato popolare. Una mattina arriva la sua ex fidanzata che gli chiede di guardare il loro bambino Ozzy, ma Ramon non sa nemmeno avere cura di sé stesso e della sua vita; ancor meno di un bambino che dipende completamente da lui. Coinvolto in questa situazione, lascia un po’ da parte il lavoro e si allontana, ma questo lo mette davanti al fatto che ha una responsabilità e non sa come gestirla.
Synopsis: Ramon sells shirts of metal bands in a popular market. One morning his former girlfriend comes at job and asks him to watch their child Ozzy. But Ramon does not even take care of himself and of his life; even less of a child who is completely dependent on him. Involved in this situation, it leaves a little ‘work aside’ and walks away but this puts it in front of the fact that it has a responsibility and does not know how to manage it.
HOLA

Sinossi: Tramite il suo computer, Hilo trova un’amante; si scompone tra le fenditure dell’apparato del computer per arrivare al suo incontro d’amore; quando questo finisce di colpo, rimane solo il vuoto della distanza.
Synopsis: Through his computer, Hilo is a mistress; breaks down between the cracks of the apparatus of the computer to get to his love match; when this ends abruptly, leaving only the empty distance.

Sinossi: K. e R., una coppia giapponese, vanno in Messico per la prima volta a visitare il loro figlio che è troppo occupato per riceverli. R. organizza una sorpresa per rallegrare sua moglie che non riesce a capire perché suo figlio ha scelto di vivere in quel paese.
Synopsis: K. and R., a Japanese couple, go to Mexico for the first time to visit their son, who is too busy to receive them. R. organizes a surprise to cheer up his wife who can not understand why her son chose to live in this country.
